Bringing Home the Weanlings

After Emily got home from her arm therapy, she, Rhoda and I took off for Middle Grove to pick up the 3 weanlings. Below are a few pictures of the herd there. They were scattered all over the hillside but when they saw Rhoda they ambled down to her.
Below is Anna. Can you tell why we will be bringing her home tomorrow. She is not due until January but sure looks like she is going to pop.
Soul and Bunni were leading the pack at a gallop, they are followed by a couple of Friesian mares.
Whitney was sure feeling good this cold gray day. She was having a ball galloping around.
Prissy is sure showing her pregnancy. She isn't due until April but showing well.
Below Emily is getting a halter on Lola so we could bring Magnum home. He is such a friendly fellow and so very black.
We loaded up Treasure, Magnum and Tatiana in the front of the trailer and Oksana in the back. I dropped Rhoda, Emily and Oksana off at the Hanna City farm. They decided to give Oksana her first under saddle instruction. Those girls worked with her while I took the 3 youngsters to Hoerr Vet Clinic in Morton, IL to get their blood drawn for the coggins test. By the time I arrived home they were just finishing up with Oksana so put her in with Killian then helped me unload the foals.  Below left to right is Tatiana, Magnum and Treasure.
We took them all into a stall to groom them up a bit before taking them into the arena for pictures and videos. We started with Treasure. She has the most amazing movement. Even on the frozen footing of the outdoor arena she floats. Treasure is for sale for $3500.00
Check out her video below

Tatiana was taken out next. Tatiana is out of Marika by Evan and was born June 29th, 2014. She is a purebred Friesian registered and DNA'd with Friesian Heritage horse. She is for sale for $7000.00 and is a bargain at that price.
She also has nice movement and with her disposition would do very well in dressage. She wants to please. Check out her video below.
Next we needed to take a few pictures of Magnum for his owner Stacy. He went right over to greet Killian.
While she had him out she decided to de-worm him. He stood very well for that. These colts by Valiant are just so easy to work with.
The foals were put in with Ripper and Violet and they all went running up to Valiant who took off galloping, bucking and showing off for the new horses even if they are babies.
The rest of the day was spent making the videos and trying to post them on the website. Spark called to invite Mark and I for supper but Mark had a late meeting at Skyline and I wanted to finish the video's so turned him down.
