A Bird in Hand vs in the Bush

Braelyn, Taegan and Kensley came over for the day and by the end of the day I'm more than ready for bed.
We had a productive day building forts around the house, reading, playing with the Breyer horses and building castles out of blocks. Emily took the truck and trailer shopping,  picked up a pallet of bedding from TSC getting 50 bags at $5.22 a bag and had them load the skid right into the horse trailer. When she got home she used the skid steer with the fork lift attachments to unload it into the indoor arena where we will haul it in as needed. Next she went to Hoerr Vet clinic in Morton to pick up the coggins and health certificates for the next 2 foals leaving, Magnum and Treasure. Magnum is leaving either tomorrow evening or Friday morning for his trip to Pagosa Springs, CO and Treasure is leaving probably next week.
We have now sent in the breed and sport application for 2015 IL Horse Fair for the Friesians and the vaulting team. We ordered 10 stalls, plan on taking 8 horses and will use 1 for tack/dressing room and 1 for feed. The truck insurance was also paid today. We had a lady email about Prissy last night, she is from California and interested in buying her. We needed to have a meeting to figure out if we should sell her or not.
We have a lady interested in buying Prissy's foal but we don't sell in-utero so no money was down.
That lady was contacted to ask if she would be willing to put down a non refundable deposit. She was not so the lady wanting Prissy was contacted to say we would be willing to sell her. They are checking into shipping and hope to purchase her. Prissy's foal is actually worth more than she is at this point, the foal is guaranteed to be spotted and is going to be a big tall painted Friesian with HAIR but a bird in hand is worth more than 2 in the bush so we will sell her if they can work out the shipping.
The other horse that may be sold to a lady in Texas is Whitney.
I've asked her to pray about her first though, I'm not sure Whitney is what they want but she has come so far and would more than likely be perfect for the family.  They have 6 children all under the age of 10. I'm a little concerned Whitney may take advantage of such a young family.
Church tonight was held at the fellowship hall for our Christmas program. We had a great turnout and heard a wonderful Christmas message by Tim Funk.
