WorryWort

I admit to sometimes worrying, sometimes forgetting that worry does absolutely no good and today is one of those days.
Zalena's udder is pretty full AND there is some waxing on her teats. Not a lot but some. She is not due until April 30th AND Mark and I are heading to Wheaten, IL we won't be home until tomorrow.
Zalena must be left in a stall as the sustained winds right now are 30 mph with gusts up to 39 mph pounding the walls of any standing structure, slamming into the doors and windows and making the metal roofs groan. The mud is soupy and thick in the paddocks. We are leaving around noon, Jessica and Anni (about the only ones left around here that like horses) have agreed to take care of the dogs and horses but neither have a lot of experience with foaling. So instead of worrying I need to be praying.
Anyone reading this please pray that Zalena will hold off at least another week. We don't want a her foal born before it is mature enough to breath and nurse. As James wrote: the prayer of a righteous man availeth much. So I'm asking for prayers and will stop worrying.
Zalena is such a sweet loving mare. Below are a few pictures of her.

Hopefully in a few weeks we will have a few pictures of her AND her foal by Valiant.
