Easter Sunday is always a special day for any believer and for us in Peoria this was one of the best days I can remember. It started with a breakfast at the fellowship hall where well over 300 people were served in 12 minutes. Dad would be proud! Then can an awesome program of worship and praise for our living Savior. Mike Rieker started us all out by reminding us, "He didn't have to do it!" Each group that shared their talents so willingly blessed all who were there. Tim Funk had the message reminding us how it was that morning at the tomb. We moved from there to the church where Dave Obgerfel had the service letting each of us know that God gives us a choice.
Most of the family made their way to Meisterville after the services. Karin had volleyball scheduled from 1:00-3:00, Diane had an Easter Egg hung at 3:00 and our Easter meal was at 4:00. After the meal Rhoda brought Indy out for horse back rides then to help wear off our dinner a hike on the new trails Mark finished up yesterday. Those trails were well used today with hikers, 4 wheelers, golf carts and horses.
