Mark and I worked on preparing the garage for the insulators. Everything needed to be moved from the left side of the room to the right side. I'll be glad when this is finally finished. Sanna's filly was wormed on Wednesday, yesterday she came down with diarrhea but was still nursing well and acted fine. Today she was not nursing and the diarrhea is coming like water. She was becoming dehydrated. By 1:00pm I started milking Sanna and force feeding her 20 cc s at a time every hour getting down 5 to 6 ounces each hour. She was given biosponge, which is suppose to help. By 9:00 pm she nursed on her own a bit and has started grazing. Deworming a foal is tricky but necessary. Hopefully she will recover quickly.
We were getting ready for bed when there came a knock on the back door, no, it wasn't a horse wanting to come inside, this time it was Ebby come running through the door. Her owners must be out watching the fire works somewhere and she was lonely.
