Bunni Delivered

It was sure a cold one this morning for our walk. Today was a good day to make a pot of soup.  Amy came over for a very nice visit, Diane stopped in, took some soup home for her lunch then came back to visit with Amy and I, then Karin stopped in. As soon as Karin came Diane headed for home and Karin burst out laughing. She retorted, "did you see how quickly Diane left when she was surrounded by 3 horse lovers?" That made all of us laugh. Diane just isn't a horse lover.  As soon as Amy left Karin and I went up to the barn to load Bunni to take her to her new home.  When we got to her new home we both were very pleased. Bunni will love living with her new family. The barn is roomy and new. Her stall is huge, matted and opens up to her own pasture.
Above is Bunni heading to her new pasture and below is her new stall. The stall still needs bedding but she has a heated water bucket  and plenty of room.
The little girls in the family are going to enjoying loving on Bunni.
A very nice  update came in today from Ravyn's owner. Ravyn is a Raven daughter out of a beautiful Spotted Saddle Horse.  Her owner would like to bring her here to be bred to Evan in March or April of 2020.
She is a BEAUTIFUL Raven daughter and we would be pleased to have her bred to Evan.

This evening dinner was taken over to Phil and Anna's for the girls and Gertie's sisters who are helping out watching them while Phil and Anna are in the Bahama's and now that Gertie is recuperating from her total hip replacement this week. My plan was first to take dinner to the kids then head over to Dennis and Gertie's house with dinner for them but to my surprise Gertie was AT Phil and Anna's house and looks great. She is doing her therapy and walking well with walker.  Her sisters are wonderful helpers. Aren't sisters GREAT!  What would I do without mine:  Karin, Rachel, Joan, Nancy, Ruth, Beth, Diane and Amy. Of course brothers help too just not in our area of work. Spark, John and Dan always come to the rescue when we need something the sisters can't do.
Mom invited us all over to play games tonight.  Joan, Diane, Heather, Sean, mom and I played while the kids did school work. It was a fun evening.
We finally got another picture from Phil and Anna's trip: Anna posted the picture below.
So glad they are having a good time.
