Another Busy Saturday

I made a quick trip to Sam's Club this morning getting there around 7:30 am to buy the food for the meal tomorrow and made it home before Karin arrived here at 8:30 am.  The first thing we did was to take Hadassah and her filly out for a video and pictures of the filly for the owner. Kayla arrived so we put her to work in the video showing how sweet this filly is. Her owner named her A Dreamy Ellagance.

She didn't show off as much as she did yesterday but wow does this filly move.

Once she was put away we took Missy and her filly Amelia out to get pictures for her owner. We were actually blown away at her movement.
This filly has the presence and beauty we never expected as Missy is her mom. Thankfully Evan really throws himself. Enough to really tempt me into breeding Missy again.
The next horse taken out to work with was Valiant. Karin has been working both of the boys and both are doing great. Today was Valiant's turn.

We finished with him around 11:30 am, loaded up Brista and took her back to the Goose Ranch. They have decided to try her next spring.  Karin and I at lunch at a Mexican restaurant in Canton. It was good and filling. We brought enough home to share with Mark. This afternoon Shelby and 2 of her brothers came to ride. The horses used were Missy, Sally, Cookie and Sangria.

As soon as this ride was over we grabbed Cookie to give pony rides to the grandchildren visiting today. Braelyn, Taegan, Kensley and Zion all got the chance to ride and all did well.

Zion was a little scared and didn't ride by herself like the other grand children did.
If you would like to see the rest of the pictures from the trail ride and pony rides click HERE. Karin helped Mark get the mower on the tractor and Mark got Valiant's field mowed before taking the mower over to mow Joan's field.

He quit mowing when he about ran out of fuel.  At that point he came out to help fix a couple broken boards on the outdoor arena.  I had a foal try to jump out and he didn't quite make it breaking two boards in the process. Tatiana's stall was cleaned and she was fed and watered a few times during the day. The colt's cord iodined as it is still a little damp. This evening though they were moved to the paddock next to the barn. It is dry and clean. That will save some work in the morning. The colt is doing great and I am so thankful for another healthy foal.  Hopefully I can get some updated pictures of him tomorrow for the website.
Mom got her new furniture in for the master bedroom in her condo at Gulf Shores, AL Joan, Beth and Diane all worked on putting it together and below is the finished project.
