Well Karin, you stated you have been very disappointed in the blog since we moved out to the farm, not near enough stories to go with the pictures. Of course it took hours to download the pictures from this very slow internet. Oh the sacrifices that must be made to keep family happy!
Emma and Jane were playing together, they both get tired and flop down, Emma rolls onto her back.
Jane looks up and sees..... the food bar....mmmm this is really good.
ouch those teeth are sharp.
And yes, Jane is STILL for sale. She was 8 weeks old Friday night, perfect time to go to her new home, just ask EMMA!
Rachel Sauder of momentscapturedbyrachel took the pictures below of our 2 Friesian colts when they were about 18 months old playing in the snow.
These boys are now 2 years old and TALL. Valiant doesn't have much mane left, Evan rears up and pulls it out but Valiant gets back at Evan by pulling his tail.
Today after breakfast the grain elevator in Glasford, IL was on the list to visit. Cheryl Grassi's family now owns it and I wanted to check the elevator out. Mark will be happy, there were jars of honey for sale on the counter from a bee keeper in Mapleton, I bought a quart jar for him and it was only $8.00. Honey has gotten very expensive in the store since the colony collapse syndrome with honeybees in America, even Aldi's prices are out of line. A quart should last us a long time.
