Gideon's Training

This Monday was a catch up day from being gone Friday and Saturday. 4 loads of laundry were done in the house and 1 load at the apartment. The meat was browned for the stew that is currently cooking  in the crock pot for the Berean meal tomorrow then as soon as that was in I left to pick up the Berean mail at TEMCO then finished getting all the ingredients cooking as soon as I got home.  Today 2 bales needed to be moved into the middle paddock but first I had to try to remove the two that were in there. I discovered mold in those old bales. I was only able to move one out but was able to push the other forward enough to get the second bale in under a shelter. Sure hope these are better bales. The farrier was sent a text about removing Beautiful Lisa's shoes. He is going to come Wednesday and we have a list of horses that need to be done. Hoerr Vet clinic was called to see about getting her in to remove her wolf teeth and the earliest I could bring her is a week from tomorrow. Dr. Hoerr is out of town this week. I worked on updated the website adding Lisa.  I also got 2 pictures of her sire Dakota MLH. He is really beautiful. His sire is Nanning so Lisa has some pretty impressive bloodlines. Dakota, Lisa's sire is pictured below driving.

Dakota her sire is pictured above showing us his short back and amazing neck. He was taken to the inspections and made 1st premie with amazing scores. We are pretty thrilled to own his daughter.
I had a lady ask to see a video of Gideon being led around and Rebekah Martin offered to help with that. He was very well behaved.
This was the first time he has been loaded without his mom and the first time into this 2 horse trailer.

When Karin got off work she started her second job by pulling out Valiant.

Karin had Rebekah pop on him next.

He was such a good boy. Karin really loves riding this stallion, he is so athletic and wants to please.  As soon as he was put away they pulled out Anna and Oksana and took them out on the trails.  I didn't get any pictures of them riding those two as I was inside working on the apartment.  When they got back they put those two mares away and pulled out Galena and Tory.  Below they are heading down to the trails.
I met them at the field to get a few galloping pictures
Karin was having some fun with Galena.
Tory has some amazing gaits and can really gallop but below Rebekah asked for a trot.

Mark got home a little early from work today and the weather was perfect for splitting wood. We got lots done not quitting until late. We just kept saying "one more log." Both of us are tired tonight.
