Profiling Zoey

Zoey was born May 7th, 2015 out of our first premie mare Zalena by Evan. We knew this filly was a superstar right away. She inherited Evan's hair and movement but also Zalena's feminine fairy Friesian looks. Dee, the owner of Olympia came to visit with her husband and it didn't take long for them to decide to buy her. Zoey will be 10 months old at Fair Time and probably one of the youngest horse at this 2016 IL Horse Fair. She is pictured below right after birth.
Check out those long legs!
Zoey had an amazing amount of feather that was already thick and curly at 3 weeks of age.
You see the Friesian foal usually doesn't start producing feather until they are a few months old. We know Zoey is truly going to be the fantasy Friesian everyone desires.
The next two pictures were taken at Middle Grove. Zoey was not the oldest of the foals out there last summer but was the boss of the foals. She was very secure in her status of the princess.

The next two pictures were taken when Zoey was brought home to wean at 5 months old.

This filly has amazing movement. Don't believe me, well just check out the video below taken Oct 8th, 2015

We haven't seen her since she left the farm and are so very excited that Dee is bringing her to the IL Horse Fair. We have our photographer coming and will make sure to get lots of pictures of her for our photogallery page.  Come on down to the fair and check this young one out. There is not too many places one can come to see Friesians of ALL ages. Interesting enough Zoey will be the youngest Friesian there while her mother Zalena is our oldest mare at 16. Don't forget to check out EVAN, her sire, who will also be at the fair.
