Work Day for Mom

Each year for Mother's day we get together to pit our skills and talents against the work that needs to be done and each year we are amazed at how much actually gets accomplished. Today was no exception.
It was suppose to start at 9:00 am but again we are dealing with Meisters that just don't know how to arrive on time. Everyone started showing up shortly after 8:00 am. There is just something bred in us that won't allow us to be late...even for work.

Everyone knows how to pitch right in. It really is true that many hands make light work. Many more pictures were taken of the work day and are posted on Mark's Facebook page. After every thing on mom's list and more was deemed good by the bosses we celebrate with a pizza party.
After the pizza party Mike and Diane brought over their grand children to ride. With Paris now out of comission Karin pulled Sunny out and he was excellent with the kids. Below is Willow jumping.

Just as Mark, Spark and I were leaving for Bob and Myrna Hoerr's for our annual choir picnic I see Anni riding Bonnie and leading Misty.  Then Karin comes flying by on Sangria. The girls decided to take a ride on the death trails using Misty, Bonnie, Sangria and Sunny.
The weather was perfect for both the work day and the picnic. We finished the picnic with a singing in the garage and the next to the last song was, "I'll have a new body." Oh how that song brings back memories of our trips to Alabama with the choir. As soon as we got home Eliza and her filly were moved into a paddock for the night. The only problem with that was the filly followed me and not her mom. Eliza wasn't happy but I finally convinced the filly to join up with her mom. Another great day!
The video below of Emily working Sunny was taken yesterday but just published today. He really is an amazing Haflinger.

Sunny is owned by Rachel Sauder and is now for sale. She is only asking $3000.00.
The video below is of Emily showing off her pony Misty, it was also taken yesterday.

Misty is also for sale, check out Misty's tricks at the end of the video. Emily is only asking $2000.00 for this talented pony. For many more pictures and videos please feel free to visit the horsemeister website.
