She is such a beautiful mare with her mega main and thick long tail. Last night her tail was wrapped with an entire roll of vet wrap and I still struggled to get all the hair inside. I will probably braid it first tonight then try wrapping it up. Her stall is cleaned with plenty of soft bedding. We will add straw as she is delivering. I hate cleaning stalls that are bedded with straw and will only lay it down as the foal is being born.
Emily and Rhoda moved in 2 new bales this morning, Eliza's paddock got a new bale and so did Sangria and Sheena's paddock. Emily stopped at TSC on her way home from school to pick up 20 more bags of bedding so we will have plenty. At work today Diane called the prison in Wasco California to find out why they wouldn't accept the Bibles we sent to prisoners. The lady was curt and said, "we talked about it and all will be rejected." Diane is like a bull dog, there was no way she was going to take that as an answer and replied, "we send Bibles out to prisons and jails all over the United States and only your facility is rejecting them. I work for a lawyer and do you know this is illegal?" They changed their tune very quickly and yes we can now send the prisoners Bibles there but... some of these letters are 3 weeks old. We will have to check to see if they have been transferred before sending them out. Good job Diane. Mom pulled a good one today. She bought Bethany a bunch of clothes at Good Will and Mission Mart. Emily was looking over the clothes and discovered one was a black strapless dress. Now mom can't stand strapless, she calls them topless dresses. Emily figured out mom must think it was a skirt and pointed it out to mom. Sure enough she was shocked. We are waiting to see Bethany in that skirt!
