Strep

The appointment at the doctors office didn't take very long to diagnose my sore throat as strep. I was still running a fever and my throat looks terrible. Hopefully tomorrow when the antibiotic starts to work I'll feel better.

While I was visiting the doctor Emily was hauling to Middle Grove. Prissy, Killian, Hadassah and Jenis were taken out for a vacation. There is so much available grass there it just makes sense to send them out and then just bring in the mares needing to be covered and also makes sense to send Killian out to grow up a bit.

When Emily got back she mowed 2 of the pastures then decided as it was hot she would take Indy over to Diane's for a splashy cool down. Indy loves the water. We raised Indy and couldn't be happier with her.

  She is out of Ylse by Raven and will be 4 years old this 4th of July, her golden birthday!

 Diane was watching 2 of Andrew and Rachel's children and came out to join us. Irelyn brought out her tea set to have a tea party with Ebby.

 Ebby loves the kids.

We  had a thunderstorm come rolling in this evening but it didn't drop much rain. Now that the fields are mowed we would love a good soaking but at least we got a nice soft shower. I have a lady coming on Saturday to look at Eliza's filly. The lady that bought Eliza's 2013 colt sent an email today telling me how much they love him. This filly is just as sweet. It's wonderful that Valiant passes along Raven's amazing disposition.
