Thieves

Still no news on Wynne and Max. The email below came in just now: "I hate to say this, but they need to have people checking the nearest slaughter houses as well. A high dollar horse like this was probably stolen to sell, in which case unless they know how to remove the microchip that would alert any vet as to whose horse it is, but I'd still seek out slaughter houses just in case. Praying, this is about the 4th case of stolen horses around the Hannibal/Quincy area so it's got to be someone local!!!" The 4th CASE? and the thieves haven't been caught? That is unbelievable! Also posted on facebook today was this:REWARD OFFERED! 2 HORSES STOLEN in Quincy area last night! Mother & baby BLACK DRAFT HORSES. Very large, the pic her is dated, the colt is much larger than pictured here! Please call with any info that will lead to their return! 217-316-4647! Now I don't know who posted that, it couldn't have been the owner, Jill, as she wouldn't have called Wynne and Max a draft horse and Wynne is not considered large.

    Please contact NetPosse! They have tremendous luck, and a huge network of folks who can get the word out quicker than you can imagine. We are saying a prayer - please keep all of us posted.
