Stolen!
Do they still hang horse thieves? A very disturbing phone call came today from Wynne & Max's owner. Jill couldn't find her horses this morning and during the search found the reason why. Her fence had been cut and her beautiful Friesian horses stolen. The police have been called. Wynne had a Raven son by her side and is in foal to Raven so this is a huge loss.
Please spread the word that a valuable Friesian mare and her 4th month old purebred colt were taken from the Quincy, IL area. Anyone trying to sell them will not have their papers so will probably try to sell them as unregistered. Wynne has been microchipped and can be identified very easily.

Absolutely horrible. If we were closer, we would certainly keep an eye out.
ReplyDeleteThe horse ranch that is my next door neighbor had a horse stolen last summer. Unbelievable that it still happens in this day.
