Polo Anyone?
Today is the polo match CIRTS benefit at Weaver farm. CIRTS has asked us to be part of the entertainment. Not that Friesians would be any good at polo. Actually before the match starts, around 3:15pm they are holding a parade of breeds and then another parade of breeds at 6:30pm. Jenis, Olympia, Eliza and Olivia will be the Friesian breed representative.
Karin has agreed to help. We sure could have used another person and it's not too late so I'm putting the word out now. Anyone that wants to help we are leaving the barn around 2:00pm today. Just wear your horsemeister shirt or if you don't have one let me know and I'll get one for you.
It is cool out this morning, too cool for bathing horses, but should warm up enough by noon. All of them will need a bath as all of them enjoyed a good roll.
I'm seriously tired this morning and blame Rhonda. She brought over a book titled Wish You Well by David Baldacci and unfortunately I opened the cover yesterday afternoon. Of course by the time I reached the end of the story it was after 10:30pm. Why oh why can't one put down a good book, why can't we just read a chapter or 2 at a time?
