FIRE!
Siren after siren came screaming down Hanna City Glasford road this afternoon. We wondered what happened not dreaming Fede's Hungarian Handy Man shop was burning!
Rebekah and Anni brought their horses over here to add to the few we have and took a group riding on the death trails. They got the message of the fire, left their horses and headed home. The video below are pictures of the many different fire departments that showed up and the burning building.
Poor Fede, not only was the building destroyed but all of his tools were demolished along with the brand new bumper for Anni's car and Spark's windmill blade. This loss is horrendous for a small business. No one knows yet how the fire started, there was no one inside the building. Ruth first smelled smoke, looked out her window and saw the smoke quickly calling the fire department. By that time it was too late.
Olympia seemed to be fine today. She was watched for a couple of hours and no new diarrhea was seen. This baby can bend:
Mark helped get the mats out of the living quarter trailer so it could be power washed. The only way to do that is in a swim suit and not my good one. The one I was wearing was just a bit too revealing in my opinion but after all who is going to see me inside the horse trailer...except who should pull up but the Schwinds from Roanoke. Oh well, they didn't seem too traumatized.
