Bonnie Pony
Steven arrived to give Emily a lesson and to her surprise and mine he pulled Bonnie pony out. Not sure how Bonnie would handle this I stayed and watched. Bonnie did very well, listening to Emily, her whoa was wonderful and she would even back up when asked. However she is not ready to give complete beginners lessons, Bonnie will look at things when she is startled. We were very pleased with how she responded to new noises and situations. Emily's brother Isaac brought his cap gun and set off a round of shots at her. Yes she jumped the first time, the second time was a slight jerk and the 3rd time she just stood there. Steven feels with regular work within a month she will make someone a wonderful lesson pony. She is the perfect size!
Above is 5 year old Emily and Bonnie pony, below is Emily's older brother Isaac getting a ride after the lesson:
And finally is Emily's younger brother Jack giving Bonnie a groom.
This pony also drives, in case you missed the video of Rhoda driving her around the compound here it is again.
Bonnie is for sale for only $1500.00 a very good buy for such a pretty pony!
While checking Jenis and Eliza over at the cabin I noticed Jenis' filly had some diarrhea. Jenis and Olympia were stalled, Olympia was then given some medicine Rhoda recommended. They will spend the night over here to be watched. It is too easy for a foal to become dehydrated.
Below is a picture of Tim & Sarah Reinhard saying good-by to Emma and Darcy.
And below that is Diane leading Sangria over to the new pasture.
That's a big baby bump! She is still 18 days away from her due date and last year she went 10 days late.
