I thought they would be ok as I thought Rosaleigh was out of season but I was wrong. Below Rosaleigh is heading for Evan.
Either Evan has to be locked up or Rosaleigh since the fence between the pastures are not electric we can't have a mare in season in one with a stallion in the next. Rosaleigh was taken to the short shelter paddock. She was covered this morning by Evan and stood well. Below are a couple more pictures of Blueberry's filly by Valiant.
She is friendly, likes scratches and is very curious about new things. She is going to be very tall and really is beautiful. Whoever buys her is going to be thrilled.
Once I was sure they were ok I went to work cleaning the indoor arena and finished just in time for the walk. Today Spark and Rhonda met us on the drive. Spark was taking dad's mower to the dumpster. Dad died 20 years ago last December.
They weren't really procrastinating, Spark and Dan tried to put it on a float and use that for collecting moss off the lake. I'm not sure if that ever worked but it really was time to throw it away.
We stopped at mom's and said hello to Aunt Jinnie who flew in yesterday late afternoon. We are all so glad she made it safely. I had someone arrive at 9:30 am to buy and pick up 60 of the rubber tiles we placed on Facebook marketplace yesterday. I helped him carry 19 of them down the barn stairs and he carried the rest it was load after load up and down those 20 stairs so I felt like we got our exercise. I have someone coming tomorrow after work to pick up the final 90 tiles. I'm saving back 8 full ones and some other pieces as those will be needed once the drywall is up. As soon as we finished getting the tiles into his truck I left for Sam's club to pick up some groceries and stopped at Aldi on the way home to pick up green beans and grated cheese. I barely had time to put the groceries away before needing to leave for the 50/50 restaurant in Bellevue where I met with Jamie and Danni. Danni is going to be staying at the apartment at the end of May and is going to use the barn for a family meal. She wanted to make sure it would work for 40-50 people. She was pleased. After she left I was finally able to finish cleaning the barn from Sunday's Easter dinner and finished that by 5:30 pm giving me just enough time to grab a quick bite to eat, take a shower and get ready for church. Tonight Gregg Rumbold had the message. Click HERE to watch that. He and Heather had just flown in from Italy. We did not go to Culvers tonight instead after church the Bradley/ICC young group went to Joan's house.
