Busy Monday

It was another cold morning for our walk. Ruth and I quit at 8:00 am to get ready to pick up mom for Berean today. We arrived there at 8:45 am to find most people already hard at work.  If you would like to read about our morning there click HERE. One interesting thing at that office was they are tearing a barn down behind the office. They had a huge pile of tires to get rid of.

We left there at 11:00 am. Ruth took mom inside while I backed the van back into the garage. Today was busy. Rhonda came early to help, I had to go to Costco to pick up some groceries and found some dark chocolates filled with caramel and topped with sea salt marked $3.00 off and bought two. We will try them tomorrow. On the way home I stopped at Aldi and was pleased to see they finally had bottles of sweet and sour sauce back. I bought 3 bottles of that. Mark and mom really like egg rolls but only with some of that red tangy sweet and sour sauce to dip it in. The weather turned nice and the temperature hit 61 degrees. Almost enough to go without a coat but the wind was too strong. I worked in my house until supper. Mark got a nice supper tonight. We shared a sweet potato, we each had a salad, split an avocado, had some steamed broccoli and piece of teriyaki chicken.
The Monday night volley ball group arrived. They had some really fun games.
Below is a short video of a couple volleys.
The horses were moved this morning over to the other pasture. They really enjoyed grazing in Evan's pasture but since the weather is going to turn cold again they need to stay off that so when Evan finally gets to use it there will be grass for him. These horses love the new spring grass after eating hay all winter.
