Cruise Day 4
We both slept like logs today, good thing Beth called our room at 6:30am to wake us up. I headed over to their room to watch the sunrise and yes today we got to see it rise, not quite out of the water but through a cloud bank then up. Karin, Beth ordered room service for us this morning and the coffee was ready just about the time I got to the room so we stood out on the balcony with our coffee in hand watching. What a great way to start the day. We all met at breakfast except Mike in the main dining room and had a leisurely start to our morning. Today around 11:30 we pulled into the small island of Routan. It is a part of Honduras it is hot, humid and very sunny. Both Mark and I started to wilt on our walk up to the buildings. We tried to get a cab to take us into town but they all wanted $40.00 for the round trip and we just couldn't justify the expense. We did not want to snorkel today, both of us are quite sunburned from yesterday. The rest of the group went to a nice beach for some sun and snorkeling time. Mark and I headed back to the boat to cool off.
