Training Day

We were extremely busy today working on mailing out the Bibles and processing the studies. Eva Jean took the studies home after lunch to finish while I worked on the Bibles until the stamps were gone. Over 200 Bibles were processed. Philip used his truck and ran them to the post office as there were too many boxes to fit in the car. Unfortunately the post office raised the price of media mail and each Bible was 11 cents short. I had to drive back in to Bartonville and apply another 3 stamps, 2 four cent and 1 three cent stamp to each Bible, finally finishing after 3:00pm. When I arrived home 3 of the 4 Horsemeister trainers were here the only one missing was Emily and we will be taking Killian to her house this week.
Karin worked Prissy before I arrived and was working Cor.

She had her walking quietly over the tarp and wearing the tarp. What a huge improvement. Cor now has wonderful ground manners leading quietly to and from the paddock. Last year she would run us over and couldn't stand still. While Karin was working her, Steven and I got Gem the outside mare covered by Evan and Missy covered by Valiant. Rhoda was having fun with Paris when we finished up.

Steven did trick training with Killian then brought Valiant out for some canter work.

Rhoda didn't have a lot of time to work Lilypony but she needed riding time. Karin and Rhoda gave her a refresher in manners that started out bad but ended on a great note.

There were lots of other horses worked on this beautiful warm April day. It was hard to walk away from watching but needed to get ready for choir.
