DHX

Dave Hoerr arrived with his massive excavator to work on the ravine and remove the stump in our front yard. The stump was just too big for us to handle and the experts were called in. Our little Yanmar can't compare with one of David's machines.
Check out the pictures below.

When the stump was lifted and it fell back to the earth the ground shook. The weather is finally warming up enough that Ella and her brand new filly were put out into a paddock for some sunshine.

She is a stocky filly with legs as long as her mama's. Ruth took mom to her first doctor visit since her total knee replacement. The doctors were very pleased with her progress. She is doing everything right and it shows. Her staples were removed and she can now start weaning herself off the pain medication. Once she is off those she will get to start driving. Although she has to pass the emergency stop test first.
