Fort Lauderdale
What an exciting day, Rhoda and I stopped at Sama and ended up buying Emma and Darcy both huge dog beds. At least we thought they were huge until we got them home only to find out Darcy needs both if she wants to stretch out a bit.
Luckily the weather was sunny and warm, the photographer, Rachel Sauder of momentscapturedbyrachel.com was due at 2:30 for the horse fair pictures. Ribbon was covered in mud,so ground in we gave up with the grooming and hosed her off, Jenis was another that we had to hose off. Valiant needed just his legs hosed. Rhoda just gave Ella a lick and a promise. By the time Rachel arrived Steven pulled in to take over cleaning up Valiants tail while Rhoda and Ella rode out to start with hers. The pictures went smoothly, Rachel is so good at her job.
Mike and Diane picked us up at 3:45pm for our trip to the Bloomington airport. They were loading our plane when we arrived, it left a half hour early which let us easily catch the plane to Fort LauderdaleWhat with just minutes to spare. Both flights were uneventful and wow did Diane get us a great deal on a rental car. A mere $22.00 for a nice brand new Impala Malibu. We arrived at the Haefli condo by midnight and right now they have pulled out the snacks. We leave on our cruise tomorrow morning. It's hot down here.
