Emergency

We had an emergency on board tonight after dinner. The ship was turned around and started toward the nearest island with helicopter service. The helicopter came flying in and hovered above the lest side of the ship. We saw one person dropping down by rope unto the boat, the helicopter took off flew around the ship, came back and hovered for a bit, took off circled again then by the time we got back to our cabin the it was hovering above our cabin preparing to take on the patient. We watched as it flew into the night. We were not told what happened but it must have been very serious. Today was our day at sea, hot bright sunshine and out of reading material and no that wasn't the emergency. The library is open just one hour per day, both Mark and I checked out books for the remainder of the cruise.
