Another cold walk today but we got one thing accomplished. Joan, Diane and I decided in 2026 we would like to visit the continent of Africa and go to the Serengeti on safari, perhaps the same one that Marvin and Gail just got back from. Below are just a few pictures from their trip.
If you would like to see more of the pictures and are Facebook friends of Gail's you can just click on her page. They truly were amazing. We are going to start saving now for this trip of a lifetime! After the walk Ruth, mom and I left for the Berean office. We arrived a little after 9:00 am to find the mail had already been opened but there was still plenty to do.
We are now getting the advanced Bible study back so were trying to find a place to stack them. Ruth and Marvin found a rack on Amazon that might work and Vonnie thinks she found the perfect place to put the rack. Shirly L brought in the treat today bringing 2 coffee cakes from Trefzger's and some chex mix. Below is a short video.
We stopped at the Hanna City post office to drop off the studies and Bibles going out and also picked up two more mail tubs for next week's work.
Ruth stayed with mom for a couple hours while I went home to help Mark move wood up on our porch for the coming snow and cold. Mark brought a golf cart full of dimension wood and that was stacked too as it makes great kindlin.
I took Ruth's place at 1:00 pm. Mom was watching a nature show so we learned all about weaver birds and camels.
When Karin arrived I went back to work dropping some things off at the barn but not finishing the cleaning. That will be finished tomorrow. Mike moved Jewel in with Star and Oliver as tomorrow Dr. Hoerr is supposed to come but Emma from the vet clinic called to let us know Dr. Hoerr was very sick and would not be able to make it. Emma rescheduled him to come next Thursday. Tomorrow I'll move Tatiana over with Jewel. She really wants to be with her and both mares were standing next to each other across the fence line.
