Truly Blessed

Another cold morning but at least there was no snow on the ground. Mark left early to feed the cat and check on the horses. I brought the 3 crock pots of roast in, and was able to put all of the meat into one crock pot. The left over liquid was poured into one of the crock pots and the 4 pounds of carrots and 3 pounds of potatoes were put on low to cook. We left for church at 9:10 am, drove to Joan's to pick up Berlica and Mackenson as Joan was at a conference. Berlica brought the 4 baby raccoons with her but we needed to stop at Dollar General on the way to church to pick up some new baby bottle nipples for the raccoons.  When we got to church Berlica took them to Sarah's Sunday school room as she was going to care for them until after church. Tim Roecker had the first message. The afternoon message was from Tim Funk. Peoria is going to be praying about another minister and he shared with us about the process then Gregg Rumbold told us about his experience when he was put in. After church the kids and grandkids all came for dinner and a birthday party for the April Birthdays. Always chaotic smashing all 26 into our small dining room for dinner.

The kids had a table set up in this room and another in the living room.
Zeke was more interested in watching and listening than eating.
Then came the birthday party. Addyson turned 14, Abe turned 6 and River turned 2.
Taunya brought the cake which was from Costco and their cakes are the best.  Sarah brought the ice cream. That was dished out while the kids were opening their gifts.
Below is our youngest grandchild with his happy parents.
After the party we all headed over to the gym. The kids went upstairs and were playing kick dodge ball, like gaga ball without the circle.
Below is a video of the party and the evening.
Dan and Susan arrived and offered to take Nancy home. They came to get the wheel chair van as we have decided to sell this one.  Mom needed to sign the title.  Dan was able to help her. He sent the picture below with this text:  It's done,,, so Susan and I are stealing it and skipping the country.   If we don't make it to Hanna City, can anyone pick us up?..
We ALL had to laugh at that.  The van isn't THAT bad.
Ron, his son Tim and his grandson Will arrived as the games were ending but we still got to visit some before they left.
After everyone left I needed to give Jewel her 30 cc's of sulfa so drove the golf cart up to the barn. The sun was already setting. Lily and Rosalie were eating on the round bale while Lily's filly was sound asleep in the hay.

Jewel was given her sulfa then I went over to check Irish's udder. Tatiana got to the gate before I did.
Irish was glad to come see me.
Irish's udder was a more bagged up today plus she may have lost her mucus plug so she was taken out and put in the indoor arena for the night. She has no waxing and I really don't think she is ready but it is COLD outside, already down to 36 degrees and going down to freezing or below by 4:00 am. Not worth taking a chance.  Mark and I will be heading to bed soon. It was a long busy day but so nice to have everyone come.  We are truly blessed.
