Elisabet's Birthday

Lee made pancakes this morning for breakfast. He made plain, blueberry and chocolate chip to go with the eggs, sausage and bacon. After our hearty delicious breakfast we loaded up for our big hike. All of us went even Eden the youngest baby. Today we discovered the cave called the Devil's Icebox.  As we were hiking down to the entrance of the cave the temperature turned dramatically cooler and by the time we entered the cave we could see our breath. Below are a few pictures of the hike.

As Ben had to fly home everyone that didn't already have a child on their back helped Taunya with Abe taking turns carrying him. By the time we finished the hike we were all famished. Below Taunya is making lunch for the hungry hoard. Abe was too hungry to wait and climbed up on the counter and grabbed a sandwich.
After lunch the pool was back in use.

Lee helped make lots of water balloons for the kids then had a water balloon fight. Below he is trying to catch one thrown from Rhoda.
Below the kids are all throwing the balloons at poor Lee.
The children are having a great time on the playground here also.
Tonight it was David and Stephanie's turn to make dinner and they made stuffed chicken breast.

Dinner was delicious! No one wanted to take a date night and miss this meal. Stephanie served it with a big salad and a very tasty pasta dish. After supper it was time to celebrate Elisabet's 3rd birthday.
She had to have help blowing out her candles. Stephanie accidentally bought those trick candles that keep lighting. We thought that was a mean trick to play on a 3 year old.
