Sally's Colt by Evan Sold

There was a deposit check waiting for us when we arrived home for Phoenix, Sally's colt by Evan.

 He has now been marked sold. He won't be leaving until weaned in 2014.  Where do the years go? Can you believe the new year will be 2014. To think when I was a child I didn't think I would live to see the year 2000, that number was inconceivable and so far away.
We left Gulf Shores before hurricane Karen which was predicted to slam into that area late tonight. With each update the storm was downgraded. It was no longer called a hurricane and now is considered a weak tropical storm with sustained winds of 40 mph. This storm is still predicted to bring significant rain and potential flooding to low-lying areas.  Good thing mom's condo is up on stilts.
The laundry is just about done and I will be heading to the Old School Center soon.
