Funny Horses

Before our walk I ran up to do the final cleaning of the 5th wheel, turned on the lights, checked the shower attachment to make sure it would stay, gave the shower and bathroom a quick wipe up with a bleach cloth then left for the walk. On the way to the dumpster I noticed Evan and Lea grazing in the field by the new barn.

I was a little early so stopped at mom's house and talked to mom and Joan a bit before heading out to meet Diane. Ruth had an early day at work so couldn't come today. I stopped and took another picture of Evan and Lea from the road to Spark's.
Nice to see them still grazing in November. After the walk I went to take up some bottled water, instant oatmeal, a couple oranges and some hot chocolate packages up to the 5th wheel for the guests coming in but they were already there. I left the water and food on the picnic table then sent them a text to let them know.  Then drove to Kroger to pick up turkey cooking bags, some grapes and noticed the had the extra creamy cool whip for sale for $1.00 each so picked up those too. Mike and  Diane brought Sheena and Blueberry over to stay here. Evan was VERY excited to see two more mares but these girls were going in the paddock next to Valiant to keep him company.
It was funny once those mares were put away, Evan went running over by the drive to see if Mike and Diane would be bringing any others over.
About then the garbage truck went by blocking their view. There are still 3 horses in the cabin field and they could hear them calling for Sheena and Blueberry.
They came galloping back over to the shelter. Evan was on high alert protecting his new mare.
What funny horses.
Anna came to flip the apartment as we had guests move out of there today and the next ones were due to come in this afternoon.  The only thing left to do was to take the towels out of the dryer, fold them and put them away. I went up at 1:40 pm to do that but the towels weren't quite dry so worked in the barn for about 10 minutes while I was waiting. I put them away, walked out of the apartment just as the new guests pulled in just before 2:00 pm. Whew, that was close. Both of the guests coming in today came in early. Rachel was with mom today until 5:00 pm. I took over at that time and brought supper and some chocolate pudding for dessert which mom really liked. Diane came to relieve me around 8:30 as Joan isn't going to get home tonight until 10:30 pm and I can't stay up that late.
