A LONG Day

We went to bed last night before 8:00 pm and with the time change was up at 4:00 am (our usual 5:00 am) That made for a very long day.  We had a very blessed day in church with Tim Funk delivering a powerful message this morning and Mike Rieker doing the same this afternoon.
We stopped at Aldi on the way home to pick up a few items for our dinner tonight. Shirley and her new husband Ray came to dinner which was held at mom's tonight. Lee and Rhoda also made the drive with their daughter Iris along with Phil and Anna and their 3 daughters Braelyn, Taegan and Kensley.  Mom used her good china!  Shirley and Ray took a quick tour around the farm to meet the horses before supper. We have had a lot of rain today so everything was muddy but that didn't seem to faze Ray, he used to raise horses.  We had to leave mom's by 6:00 pm as tonight was hymn sing at the fellowship hall. Israel's class was singing at hymn sing and after their group got done, he came sat on my lap and asked, "did you hear me singing?"  Not only did he sing good, he even did all the hand motions. Yes I'm a proud grandma.
I had another booking come in for the barn apartment and this next group is coming on Thursday staying 3 nights, 4 days.  I had to order another dozen cookies from Stephanie.  I'm shocked at how many people want to stay in a barn!
The review from the people that left the barn apartment today came in and this is what they said.: “Judith is extremely hospitable and equally friendly and kind. I would recommend her to anyone. It’s an awesome country location and she has beautiful horses on her property. Definitely top notch!!”
“Judy thanks for being so hospitable to my family. We truly had a great time and the girls loved the horses. We will most definitely be back!!! Good luck with the fair!!!”
