We both overslept this morning but must have needed the extra sleep. It was only 9 degrees outside when we walked and both Diane and I were glad to go into mom's after one round. Mark loaded the dishwasher last night so this morning I went to unload it pulled on the top rack so I could unload the cups when it came crashing down. I was able to grab it before any of the cups got broken and unload it from the counter. Once that was done I decided to figure out what was wrong. It is the very same dishwasher as the barn dishwasher so I checked that one out and figured out the problem. There is a tab on both ends that must be pulled out straight for the rake to slide out. By pushing in the 2 middle tabs on the top of those racks it would allow the rack to be removed. Mark was trying to load it and couldn't get the rack out so pushed both of those tabs but didn't want it to fall out so just loaded that rack by reaching in and under. No harm done and now he will see how easy the dishwasher is to load. Mike stopped in with all of the Thoroughbred mare's pedigrees. As these mares are all rescues we were not given their Jockey Club registration papers but at least we have their pedigrees. I've posted a couple below: It was interesting to learn who owned Star Temple.

Computer Work
Below is Aiken's pedigree.
That meant I needed to make copies and get these all on the new website. I worked on that until 2:00 pm then drove over to mom's house for about 40 minutes then went back home to keep working on the website. I have almost all the registrations up on each individual mare but still need to add the registrations for the stallions and pedigrees on the rest. It is boring work but once posted on the website makes it easy to look up information quickly. I was working on the computer when a mole climbed up through the bottom of the pocket door in-between the dining room and the rec room . It must have dug it's way into our crawl space and was trying to get out. They can't see well so it was easy to catch. I threw it outside where hopefully the cat will eat it. I stopped for supper and made a chef salad for the both of us then had cheese cake with fresh blueberries for dessert.
After supper I decided to clean up the hard files on the horses, re-using the folders of the mares that died for the new mares. It really was kind of sad as I pulled each of the registrations out I see them in my mind and remember each of them so well that I couldn't make myself throw them away. We have lost so many really wonderful horses.
We have had the fire going all day and it was needed!
