Fast Food Costs

On our walk this morning Ruth saw a Baltimore Oriel nest so stopped to take a picture of it. Our morning was gray and cold so everything looked black and white especially looking up at the nest.

We were glad to stop in at mom's to warm up. Ruth stayed at mom's to help her get ready for Berean while I went home to change and bring back the boxes. We left there at 8:20 am and arrived before 9:00 am. Marvin and Benj had come in during the week and worked on our computers. They were working better but we found one slight problem big enough that Marvin had to put the old program back on so we could finish today. Hopefully they can fix that problem before next Tuesday. We were kept busy.

Below Marvin is re-installing our old program.
We had 24 Bible requests. We are still looking for Bibles. It is crazy but right now Bibles are in short supply. I guess when Trump was elected the Bibles were flying off the shelves all over the world. Hmm I think maybe we aren't the only ones who believe the time is short.
We needed new ink in a lot of our return address stamps. Marvin was working on filling those with ink but we said he was playing with the stamper. It really did take a while for the ink to fill.
With the higher costs of Bibles (if we can even find them) we don't think we should spend the extra money buying new stamps even though ours are wearing out. They have served us for many years.
Below is a short video of our morning.

We stopped at the Hanna City post office to drop off all the mail on our way home.  Mark was able to finish the electrical on the porch.
The lights are all working now and can be turned on or off with the switch outside of the apartment. This afternoon I picked up Kensley to take her to her basketball practice. This was quite a work out. Kensley seems to be one of the most talented of the girls. (not that I'm prejudiced at ALL)

On the way home we stopped at Hardy's for a quick drive through meal and let me tell you I was SHOCKED at the prices. My hamburger, which wasn't anything special cost more than $7.00 and a small  serving of fries was almost $4.00 and to top it off they didn't think to put any salt or ketchup in the bag. I guess one would need to ask for those. I'm not exaggerating our bill came to $23 plus change. I haven't been there for years and probably won't go back. Is this what the price of fast food cost now?
