We had an awesome day in church. It started with David giving the morning message and wow what a message this was. Everyone should listen and you can by clicking HERE. After lunch Gregg Rumbold had the afternoon message on the last part of Philippians 4 Click HERE to watch that. Mark and I took mom and Nancy home where they could rest for an hour and a half. I drove the wheel chair van over to the barn to load up the fruit baskets then came back here and made some wild rice and a cranberry jello salad for the potluck tonight at the church. We were back to pick up mom and Nancy by 3:30 pm. The van was down to a quarter of a tank and we knew we would be driving to the church, then to Skylines, back to the church and finally home so stopped on the way to fill up the tank. We met at church at 4:15 pm to divide into 3 groups for caroling.

Christmas Caroling
We had a little over 90 people show up for caroling. One group went to the veterans home, one group went to the Esther House and our group went to Skylines. We stopped first at Salem. We sang for about a half an hour there before going up to the activity and dining room. Below is just one verse of Away in a Manger.
Hanna and Jacob's daughter Chelise sang too. Well most of the time she just watched and listened but a few times she tried to sing. Below she is watching her grandpa Tim who just happened to be our song leader.
Joan's group went to the Veterans home and when they were done singing one of the men asked, "how long have you been singing together?" Joan said their group really did sound good. When they finished the men there presented them with a folded American flag as a thank you.
All 3 groups got back around the same time and then we had a wonderful meal together. What a great day, to spend almost all day with our amazing, talented and so loving church family. I really am thankful and love being with them all.
Back at the ranch (barn) Rhoda and Lee brought 5 pizzas for supper tonight. Rhoda said they even had some left. She also said they had a big group for volley ball. Lots of the moms and children came too. They all had a good time too.
