Naples Sunday

 I had such a good night's sleep not waking until 5:30 am, and very quietly changed and slipped out of the motorhome to go into the house to start the coffee Philip had it already done. As I was drinking the first cup something moved on the couch that startled me. It was Taegan who I thought was sound asleep in the motorhome. It turned out both Taegan and Kensley were too hot and went to sleep in the house to cool down. I had set the thermostat on 80 as I didn't have Mark or an electric blanket to keep me warm. Tonight I'll run the air and keep them comfortable. It rained most of the night and was still raining. The group here looked up the weather and found Sarasota area had the sun so after breakfast they drove the hour and a half to visit the beach at Venice to see if they could find any shark teeths. First though we had a hair salon going on. All 7 of the girls got bubble braids for the beach. Both Sarah and Kattie were doing hair.

The group from here left for Venice around 9:00 am. Since I didn't need want 2 sun days in a row I chose to stay and listen to church. We are an hour time difference so it was really only 8:00 am at home and I had to wait an hour. I read one of the books while waiting. Tim Funk had the morning message. I had just started watching the afternoon message which was Gregg Rumbold Click HERE to watch that which I will want to do later as just then David and Stephanie's family arrived to go swimming. The storm last night had blown lots of leaves in the pool. Israel and Elisabet both worked on cleaning up the pool and the cement around the pool.

About that time we started getting pictures back from the group at Venice. They were having a really good time FINDING the shark's teeth. They dug down and found lots of big shells too.

They found quite a few but Nolan found the largest.

They had a nice morning and afternoon in the sun on a fun beach.

Israel, Elisabet and I watched a flock of White Ibis land in the neighbors yard. They were busy grazing then flew off. Below is a video of that.

Sarah and Nolan decided to pick up Indian food on the way home for our supper tonight. They got a few different dishes for us to share.

Some was pretty spice and some was really good. We enjoyed tasting everything. This evening was a  of pool party. All 17 of us were enjoying the lighted hot tub and heated pool.

 

After all that swimming we came inside for ice cream for dessert. We had cookie dough, peanut butter cup and moose tracks. That hit the spot. The picture below was taken after River went to bed and missing Taegan as she is in changing.

They are now all on a sugar rush high and bouncing off the walls so excited. I'm really thankful for that motorhome about now.
