First Snow

 Another very cold morning. Since the golf cart has lithium batteries Mark does not want me charging it in the cold and it was down to 24 %. I drove it over to meet Ruth and left it while we walked. We all came out in winter coats. Ruth told us that water came shooting up in her field and Irma had no water. The pipe broke under ground. With Fedi still in Romania she was so grateful for her sons. Ryan and Steven went right to work digging up the pipe and then fixing it so Irma could have water.

We stopped in to talk to mom and the snow was coming down so quietly and pretty I stepped out on her balcony to take the video below.

It snowed most of the morning.

Karin is going to make honey cookies tomorrow and needs mom's help so we decided since the weather is not nice mom would stay home from Berean tomorrow and help Karin.

After the walk the golf cart was put in the gym and plugged in to charge. I won't be driving it for a few more days. Once home breakfast was made then instead of going over to the barn to clean I hiked up to the other barn to get some pictures and a short video of the 2021 Salem FSX. Mark decided it was time to sell this one. I've posted it for sale on Facebook market place but who wants to buy a camper in this kind of weather? Maybe someone looking for a bargain. We are selling this one at a bargain price as this is the camper that had a blowout and damaged the wheel well.  I took a few pictures of the damage and included them in the ad. If you would like to see the ad click HERE. I brought the memory foam mattress topper in the house as it isn't good for that to be in the freezing weather. I'll move it back into the camper if someone wants to come see it. The snow just kept coming down and since it is so cold outside it is sticking. I drove the car over to the barn to start the cleaning from the weekend and spent most of the afternoon over there. One of the comforters I had washed and dried yesterday had gum on it and I didn't see that until I went to fold it this afternoon. I did the worst thing by putting it in the dryer as it melted the gum and got it stuck in more than just the one spot. I googled how to remove it but since it was melted in nothing worked well. I'm learning patience and just kept working away on it. The comforter is too nice to throw away. By the time I finished the sticky stuff is gone but it still shows in a few places. Mark stopped in while I was working so I showed him the bouncy house baffle. We can get to it by the zipper part but but I'm not exactly sure how to repair it. It had been sewn in. I'll have to think on that but may just leave it until it is not useable then just replace it. Mom called as I was making the bed and wanted me to buy more lights for her balcony. Karin bought lights and hung them out there but mom thinks they are not bright enough. I'll need to look at them at night to see if that is really true.
