Well the hotel we stopped at has free internet and a computer to use. SO I have to write about our trip. Bob, Michelle and Loretta got to our house around 6:40 am, we were loaded and at Dennis and Gerty's house by 6:45 am, loaded them up and were on our way. After driving for 5 hours we were getting ready to stop for lunch when Loretta's daughter Patty called. Loretta told Patty that Judy handed out lanyards and catheters to everyone before the trip so she wouldn't have to stop. I DIDN'T DO THAT! I told them I would stop of anyone needed to but no one spoke up. We stopped at WALMART for lunch as we could grab something from the deli or the Subway there and took it to go so we wouldn't waste any time. We made it to the Drury Inn in Jackson, MS right at 5:00 pm. These travelers are pros. We beat Mike and Diane down with their group by 5 minutes but found out later they stopped 4 times. Why they loaded up and drove 30 minutes before they stopped the first time for donuts. Yes donuts of all things. Their bus driver (Mike Meister) thought that was very important.
Karin called right after we got here to report there is hay all over the drives by the barn. I got on line to ask the farmer if he was coming back to stack and he got back to say, "our hay was already stacked in the barn and he was coming back to pick up the rest of the hay to take to another customer". Karin was relieved. We have finished a delicious dinner and are now ready to hit the hot tub. We will pull out of here tomorrow morning around 8:00 am and more than likely THIS will be the last post for a while.
