We had a cold morning. Ruth was a little late for the walk today but when she arrived she pulled up in her new car. They were able to find a 2014 Chevy Volt which is a plug in hybrid. Of course we had to admire her purchase. It was very reasonable as it had a small ding on the front where the previous owner hit a deer. We stopped in at mom's and of course talked over the game day. I needed to start cleaning up the gym but by the time we got back from walking Joan home the workers had already arrived. When they left for lunch though I was able to go and easily finish the gym. No actual building happened today.

The Start on Windows
Instead destruction happened. They had cut out for the 3 windows.
That job won't be finished until the actual windows arrive. The fan for the bouncy house needed to be taken apart again and fixed. We found it on it's side and the fan blade loose yesterday.
This time when we put the blade back on we used an extra washer and was able to tighten down the blade. It is now back together and tomorrow I'll run it back over to the barn and hook it back up to the bouncy house. By 2:00 pm the temperature had risen to 34 degrees making it a good time to move in another round bale for the middle paddock. Oliver and Star were given grain before we opened the gate to put the bale inside the shelter.
It still takes 2 of us to move in a bale when we have horses in the middle paddock. Ruth needed another bale for their goats so we put one on the tractor then left it ready to load for when Fedi could come with the trailer.
On the way back to the house there was this lone goose laying in the field. I walked up to make sure she was ok. She was fine and started honking for her partner.
I heard a gander answering her so I'm not sure if she got too tired and needed to rest then they got separated.
Fedi showed up with his trailer about 5:45 pm. It was still light enough to easily load the hay.
At 6:15 pm I left to pick up Kensley for her practice as Braelyn's vollleyball game was in Galesburg tonight. Kensley and her team mates are so fun to watch.
Below they are playing a game of dribble knockout.
I had never heard of that game. They must keep dribbling while protecting their ball but trying to knock another girl's ball out of bounds. Mark was given a late supper after the practice.
