Flagged

We had snow coming down early this morning but that soon changed to drizzle.  Another gray wet  morning turned into a gray dismal day but that was only on the outside. Inside church was warm and loud with the sound of happy voices all fellow-shipping together before the morning service. Tim Roecker had that message. At lunch the dining area was again loud with happy voices.  For the afternoon message Mike and Tim read the memorandum. We stayed late visiting while waiting for Mark to finish up and head out to get the car.  Ruth was taken home first then mom. As soon as I got home  Sunday dinner was started.  We served 16 at mom's  a delicious steak dinner with all the fixins. Salad, sweet potatoes, green beans, rolls and butter, wild rice, all kinds of fruit such as perfectly ripened pears, pineapple,  oranges, grapes and apples and for dessert a cake and 3 kinds of pie.  After that feast was over we played games. One group was playing at one end of the table and the other group playing a different game at the other end of the table. Good thing mom has a big table. After both games were over we worked on a new puzzle and finished it this evening.
When we left mom's house the snow was coming down hard and starting to stick. The thermometer is reading right at 32 degrees out but feels like 23.  The snow is suppose to stop in a couple hours and won't stay on the ground much as tomorrow we will have above freezing temperatures, not much above freezing but at least it isn't going to be bitter cold. My work load here is much easier with those 4 weanlings gone.  This week though we need to pick up Tatiana's filly for weaning.
One not so nice thing happened today. Facebook has flagged all of the blog posts and will no longer allow me to post a link to the blog at all. Evidently this blog has objectionable content.
A very nice review came in from our airbnb guests.  They wrote: Judy was very welcoming and the apartment was perfect for us and our dogs. We'll be staying here often! They wrote the note below just for us:
Thank you so much for letting us and our three fur kids stay at your barn. We really enjoyed it and are looking forward to our next stay. Next time we will bring more towels and maybe a mop.
The weather these last 4 days have been wet and muddy. The dogs would go running and come back sopped and there is just no way to keep the mud out of the house and apartment with dogs running in and out.  Thankfully both the house and the apartment are easy to clean.
