Roseberry.

A big tree fell by Mike and Diane's drive going down to their basement. Thankfully it didn't hit anything or block the main drive. I didn't see it until this morning before our walk so not sure when it fell.

Just Diane and I walked this morning and we quit right after 8:00 am so I could get to the Berean office early. We were pretty busy there, so busy I didn't think to take a single picture until we sat down to enjoy our dessert and coffee. We had 21 Bible requests and less than 50 studies come in. While working at Berean Ruth sent the picture below with the text, "Aunt Jinnie thought it was spray on suntan lotion."
She didn't really think that but gave it a good squeeze not realizing it would come out quickly and in abundance. We all laughed along with her. Aunt Jinnie and mom are still in Gulf Shores with a bunch of the family. The weather here was also very nice when I got home. Marvin and Gale went hiking to Rocky Glen with Spark and Rhonda today. Rhonda sent the picture below.
A beautiful time of year for this hike. Generations of us have hiked there. It is off Kickapoo Creek Road and so unusual to find such beauty so close to where we lived. When we lived at Pleasant home that was one of our favorite hikes.  When I got home, Mark wanted to work on winterizing campers so we drove the golf carts over and were able to get the 3 there finished. I needed to leave then before we did the one at our house as today Zion, Eden and River were coming to grandma's house to help. Our first job was to take Roseberry out of the paddock. Zion held her while I removed burrs from her tail.
She was the only filly that still had some as when we brought them home for weaning we brought Blueberry with them. The other 3 were cleaned up when they were in the stall that first night home. Blueberry did amazing.
We let her go so I could get some action shots and WOW did she show off. I don't actually like the picture below but it caught her WAY off the ground.
She has all 4 hooves off the ground in the picture below also.
This filly is going to make someone a wonderful show mare but with her sweet willing mind will also be a wonderful family horse and her value is also the foals she can produce. She is half Friesian half Thoroughbred, very tall and athletic.

When we asked her to stop she was glad to stand with Zion for a couple more pictures.

We decided to give her a leading lesson with the golf cart. Zion took the video while I drove.

We gave her a treat before putting her back with the other foals then went to the house for our treat. By this time the sun was low in the sky and chilly. Hot chocolate was the perfect drink to warm the girls up. The next job was to clean up the ladybugs in the gym. River helped the entire time with that bringing the dust pan for me to sweep them up. The bouncy house fans were turned on and that warmed all of them up.

Sarah brought supper over to cook at the barn. They got a lot done at their new house today and all 5 of them should sleep well tonight.
