Another 96 Degrees

Terribly hot again today which made us quit the walk early with a high again of 96 degrees. Mom and I had to stop at Sam's Club before heading to the Berean office and needed to leave by 8:15 am. To read about our morning there click HERE. After Berean I had to stop at the church to pick up the studies left there and take all the studies to Meister's where Amanda was working. She is going to drop them off for Roanoke to grade this week. When I finally got home I had about 30 minutes to hose off mares and bring them inside before Dr. Hoerr arrived with his x-ray equipment. The man buying Josiah wanted to have x-rays taken of his hocks. Addyson helped with this by holding Josiah.

As soon as he was done with Josiah, Mike brought over Skye to get her wolf teeth removed before she has more training.
Skye is so tall that Dr. Hoerr needed to get on his knees to do this job.

Skye was also sonagrammed to see where she was in her cycle then given a shot to short cycle her. We will bring her back here in 3 days to see if she is starting to show and if not will wait another 5 days and give her another shot.
This evening Joan, Heather, Sean, Diane, and I went to mom's to play games. After games I went straight to the barn to clean stalls.
Ralph and Jamie picked up Dakota this evening. Jamie and I had a nice visit.
