Plenty of Pottery

We started the day a little early, as soon as it was light out the horses were checked on and fed. All of the foals are doing well. Last night Irish and her filly were left out in the field all night for the first time since her birth.
Breakfast was cooked after the horses were fed then the church lunch started. We headed over to mom's house for church. Fedi and Ruth still had that big monitor there.  Hannah joined Anni and Matt in the basement. After lunch Karin, Magda Hannah and Isaiah went on a trail ride. Mark went fishing. David and Stephanie came to pickup Rizzy and stayed for supper along with Phil and Anna, Rhoda and Lee and Sarah and Nolan. The kids played on the playground, played football with David, dug in the lake for clay and made lots of pottery then used the camp fire to dry their creations. Below are pictures of the day.
Above Rhoda brought Braelyn a new bike. She has graduated to a big bike and she was pretty thrilled to try it out on the driveway. Below Lee is pushing Sarah and Nolan's daughters on the swing while Iris supervises.

Rhoda also brought Ivy home for Sarah. Below Braelyn is holding a newly groomed Ivy. Rhoda bought clippers and gave Ivy an adorable poodle cut. Ivy is a miniature poodle.
Elisabet and Iris playing on the merrygoround.

Iris decided it was time to drive home, walked over to their car, opened the door and climbed inside all ready to drive home.
The evening was perfect for football. We were laughing as David was trying to explain the rules of the game.

The kids had fun pulling clay out of the lake and making pottery.

They were having a lot of fun with those very muddy hands. Below they are drying the pottery on the fire.
