Palm Sunday Blessings

We had a beautiful sunny Sunday morning. It was still cold but had the promise of a warm up. This morning Indy and Oksana were turned out together with their colts on the pond pasture and it didn't take long for them to be grazing side by side. Ayanna was teased next and she is now in season and was covered by Evan.  Galena was also teased. She is still in but not covered today. I just needed to see if she was still showing. If she is in tomorrow she will be covered by Valiant then.  Next it was time to get ready for church. We are a lot more relaxed in our dressing for church now that we are under a stay at home order. We still meet at mom's  although we are limiting the attendance to just 10 people of those that live at mom's or have been taking care of her during the day or night.  That meant some of use could not come. Spark and Rhonda listened at their house and Joan stayed at her house to keep the number under 10. Today I wore my work boots to mom's as they are easy on and off and of course we take our shoes OFF when we enter.
Fedi brought over his big screen monitor so we could watch Tim Funk give our Palm Sunday service.
Ruth and Anni provided lunch today.
The weather was so nice we could eat out on the balcony all spread out at the recommended distance of 6 feet.

After lunch I noticed smoke coming from the west and headed over to see if there was a problem. It was a controlled burn.
Coming back I noticed Karin had Galena in the round pen. If you click on the picture it will be big enough to see her working with Galena.

When she finished with Galena, Karin and Magda went to the cabin to tack up Sally and Missy and took them out on the trails.
They started down the cabin trail only to find a big tree down as they were headed down the steep part of the hill.
They turned around pretty quickly and shocked Studly who was following just a little too close.
Studly and Pax love going on the trails.
They headed to the dam trail which also takes them to the 'death trails' just that the dam trail is wider and no big trees. On the way we met Ruth, Rebekah and Rebekah's children Blair, Jordan and Riley. They came out to hike the trails away from any crowds.
Not too much later Sarah and Nolan's family arrived to go fishing at the lake.
Below they are heading down to the lake.
Zion came back to play on the playground right about the time Karin and Magda were coming back with the horses.

Rebekah and Jordan were practicing volley ball on the volley ball court.
 Zion was enjoying the playground.
While mom was enjoying the sunshine.
We are so thankful for this place, with 85 acres there is more than enough room for families to bring their children and still stay safe.
