Mark Fixed IT

I didn't end up driving the old truck to Berean, Dan had returned the new one last night. It felt pretty funny though driving this great big 6 passenger, 8 ft long bed truck for just 1 person.  We had a really good day at the Berean office finishing all of today and tomorrow's work. As soon as I got home the horses were checked and fed then Hadassah and her 18 hour old filly taken outside for a few pictures for the website.

She really has a beautiful dished face and her coat is soft as velvet. This filly is 75% Friesian 12 1/2% Quarter and 12 1/2 % Arabian which must be where that beautiful face comes from. She has that coal black non fading coat and will have LOTS of hair, her sire is Evan. She will also be around 16 hands tall. Just about everything one wants in a Friesian. She is for sale, if interested check out our website, Hadassah's foals have amazing movement and this one will too. Once they were back in the stall, Rosalie was taken out to the outdoor for some free time. She needs to stay in all night again tonight as she is waxing but she loved having some run time while I cleaned her stall.

Check out how far she gets off the ground. She is a big 17 hand mare heavy in foal due any time and yet still thinks she can fly.
Amy Koch came over as I was heading in to clean stalls. She grabbed a fork too and went to work.  It is wonderful to have friends who know exactly what is needed. She also came to see Hadassah's new filly. We also took the golf cart over to the cabin field to see Anna and her colt. I snapped a couple pictures for his owner.

Amy came with me to pick up Braelyn then had to leave for home. Mark drove right over to Ruth and Fedi's house to work on the car after work and got it running by 6:00 pm. He picked me up and we drove in to Hanna City to vote meeting Denis and Gerty at the voting booth and then mom. Too bad we didn't communicate, we could have all driven together.
This evening Lola was standing at the back of the paddock. I didn't feel comfortable leaving her outside so Hadassah and her filly were taken to the indoor arena for the night so Lola could have that foaling stall. Rosalie is in the other foaling stall. Neither mare act like they are going to go into labor tonight but I'm not taking any chances.
