We had an inch and a quarter of rain between last night and this evening and now are expecting some slushy snow. The ground is saturated and our pond is close to over flowing. Mark thinks the siphon is plugged. It is much to muddy to go to Middle Grove to pick up Titus for his 'tutoring' (gelding) appointment on Thursday. While on the walk Diane and I discussed calling Hoerr Vet clinic to see if we could reschedule. There were so many night crawlers on the driveway Joan brought a container to collect them and was weaving back and forth on the walk bending down to pick up the big ones for her worm bed. She had a lot by the time the walk was over. I quit after one round so I could pick up mom and Aunt Jinnie by 8:15 am so we could be at the Berean office by 8:45 am. Marvin arrived after we did and asked, "did I miss the memo about starting before 9:00 am?" It is wonderful how everyone comes early and ready to work.

Titus
Marvin had the prayer taking the time to pray for the meeting going on with the sheriff at the jail with the volunteers there. The new administration has not been supportive of Berean Prison ministry. Hopefully the meeting went well. After the work was done we enjoyed cherry berry on a cloud Shirley brought in for our treat. We really enjoyed that. We stopped at the Hanna City post office to drop off the mail and Bibles going out today. It was raining all the way home and kept raining most of the afternoon. Mark worked at the barn putting together the new pickleball net. We have a group of pickelball players coming in a week from Friday and need 2 courts. We now have both of the nets ready and plenty of balls and paddles but only 1 court is taped so need to get the second court taped before the 12th of March. Hoerr vet clinic was called and Emma was willing to change Titus' gelding appointment from April 4th to April 15th at 9:30 am.
It is crazy how many times this has been scheduled, cancelled, rescheduled again. Dr. Hoerr came here to do it last summer, saw Titus has an inguinal hernia and told us it would need to be done at his office. We had an appointment 2 weeks later and then Dr. Hoerr got kicked by one of his horses so Emma had to cancel the appointment. Then we needed to cancel because of the mud. Surely the 15th will work.
