There was snow on the ground when it got light enough to see. Enough that Israel sent a message asking if the death trails were covered. Yes they were but by the time we got out of church the snow was mostly melted. Kathy brought Nancy to church today. I brought mom as last night Ruth and Fedi's dog got hit by a car and ended up at U of I to repair a badly broken leg. They had taken her to a breeder to be bred this next week to a champion German Shepherd male. She was introduced to the owners dogs then put in his garage which was surrounded by a 7 foot fence. When Ruth and Fedi left Farkas was fine but soon they got a call from someone that lived a few blocks from the breeders house that Farkas had been hit by a car. The good Samaritan stayed with her until Fedi and Ruth could get back to her. She had hurled herself through a window breaking that then jumped the 7 foot fence to try to find her way home. Ruth and Fedi decided there would be no puppies from Farkas. She is still at U of I but should be able to come home on Wednesday. At church Gregg Rumbold had the morning message. Click HERE if you would like to watch that. David had the afternoon message. Click HERE if you would like to watch that. Both messages were good and I'll want to listen to both again. I drove mom and Nancy back to mom's house. Karin was waiting so once mom was in I backed the van into the garage then left for the barn. I started one load of laundry and took 4 more loads home to work on while preparing the supper. The family that stayed in the barn left a nice 5 star review: The experience was phenomenal. The host Judith was very friendly and helpful. It was great looking out the window and seeing horses in the morning. The family was happy and had a great time. Am looking forward to another stay. Judith we had a fantastic time. Thank you very much. Everything was perfect. That makes my heart happy to know they enjoyed their stay and want to come back. Rhoda and Anna helped with the cleaning of that. The family that stayed in the the foaling apartment didn't leave a review yet but sent a text thanking me and letting me know how much they enjoyed staying. They left the apartment very nice. Anna and her girls got that cleaned up this afternoon. For supper tonight we had chicken teriyaki, wild rice, deviled eggs, mini chicken egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce, just baked fluffy biscuits and a salad with all the fixins. That was well received and almost all was eaten. For dessert we had 3 different flavors of ice cream Mark picked up at Aldi on the way home from church. After dinner came the fun. The volley ball players arrived. Below are the 2 youngest, Quinten and Lucy.

Fun Sunday
Matt and Anni brought Dexter and he enjoyed playing in the bouncy house with Zeke and Iris.
Below is a short video.
After the volley ball games were finished the pickle ball net was rolled over and those games started.
Everyone had a good time. Rhoda and Lee took Nancy home. Nancy was happy today getting to come to church then to mom's and then talking to her sister on the phone. The laundry machines are still running but the last load is now in the dryer. Tomorrow the last of the bedding and sheets will be taken back over to the barn. I'm pretty thrilled with how easy the barn has been to clean up after a big group.
