Rain Moves In

Our nice weather is gone but we sure enjoyed it while it lasted. At least the rain held off until after our walk. After the walk the barn was cleaned up and Kyro put in the indoor arena so he doesn't get muddy. He is suppose to leave tomorrow evening IF the transport company doesn't hit bad weather on their way from Colorado.  I spent some time adding up the miles driven this year for Horsemeister by going through the blog. This blog is more than a diary it helps with business as I can always go back and check. That took most of the morning. I left for Sam's club to pick up more dog food and was shocked at how busy the place was. I really don't like shopping there when it is so crowded. The other shocking thing was the price of hamburger. That is now over $3.00 a pound. I think it is time to start raising cattle.  Our big news was we booked the most wonderful place for our Sceggel vacation called Lands End in Gulf Shores the last week of March. This place has 10 bedrooms 8 full bathrooms 2 half baths, a heated pool, hot tub, dock right out back, basketball hoop, outdoor games, plenty of parking and is right across the street from mom's 2 condos, Spark and Diane's condos and close to Rachel's condo. The best part about renting Lands End is a BIG part of the extended Meister family will be there at the EXACT same time. We will have plenty of volley ball players, foot ball players, fishing companions and lots of cousins for our little ones to play with. Below are a few pictures.

If interested in taking a vacation in Gulf Shores with a large extended family check this place out by clicking HERE. It is VERY reasonable for what it offers. To be honest this is Beth and Greg's place but it really IS unique and we were thrilled to have the chance to stay there. We usually try to take a late summer vacation but this year it just wasn't going to work out but this is even better.
