Kyro Gone

12:30 am and I just got back from taking Kyro to the water tower for his ride to Ohio. When we went out to the truck to load him the rain had frozen on the truck doors and they didn't want to open. There was no scraper in the truck and the windshield was frozen. The truck was turned on, Kyro loaded, Mark got his scraper out of his car and scraped enough to see to drive. The semi truck and trailer were waiting when we arrived. He loaded up fine but had to go past the 2 mares already in the trailer to the back where his box stall waited.                                                                                                                          It was a damp cold morning and it stayed damp and cold all day. Karin, Magda and Isaiah came and worked with the horses. I walked in just as they were finishing up riding Valiant. Isaiah helped clean up the arena and also agreed to stay at the apartment during our Sceggel vacation in 2021. We leave March 26th and Galena is due March 23rd. We get back April 3rd and Rosalie is due April 15 but has delivered 2-3 weeks early in the past. I just needed to know someone would be here checking udders and moving them indoors if they show signs of delivering. This evening Kyro was brought in and given a good groom in preparation of his trip. Below he is patiently waiting for me to bring the grooming tools over.

By the way he loved his groom. He stood very still as he was brushed all over including his belly and legs.  Mark had the stump grapple cleaned up ready to post so I took pictures of it to post on Facebook market place.
This is the ad we posted:  Quick attach stump grapple bought new in 2008 for our 100 horse power skid steer. This grapple has been stored inside since we bought it. Super heavy duty, new hydraulic hoses with spring stand off added to keep the hoses from getting kinked. 3 inch bore cylinder generates 4100 pounds of clamping force. Over 55 inch grapple opening makes it a great tool for moving big brush piles quickly. We bought it to clear land and are now finished. One small tip broke off and other is slightly bent but it still works great. Current manufacture list price is $3300.00 Will help load. Local pick up only we will not ship. To watch this being used check out the video by clicking HERE. Asking $1600 or best offer. This is not a cheap China tool, it is QUALITY! If you have been looking for something to help clear your land this is a wonderful tool.
