Berean Banquet

Right after the walk this morning I went straight up to the barn to start cleaning stalls and then 2 of the horse trailers finishing right at 10:30 am, loaded up Giselle and Tori and headed to Hoerr Vet clinic to get both of these horses a new coggins test.  The horses were just tied to the trailer while waiting for Dr. Pallen.
Both stood well tied, then both stood well for Dr. Pallen and both loaded up quietly. Sure have to love these Friesians.  As soon as I got home they were put in a paddock and the trailer parked. The truck was parked behind the barn for Mark as he is going to change the oil tomorrow if it isn't too hot outside. Rosaleigh's filly and Zalena's filly were put in a paddock with Giselle and Galena's filly then I went in to finish getting the apartment ready for our guests. When I came out of the apartment Rosaleigh's filly had jumped out of the paddock again and was in with Jenis and Tori. At that point I just opened the back gate and let the other fillies with them too. The people interested in Giselle wired transferred the money and she is now marked sold.  They are going to love her but even better she is going to love living with them. They have a wonderful farm in Texas and are going to raise Friesians.  My guests arrived around 3:30, were given a quick tour on the golf cart then Jenis brought out for pony ride.

 Rhoda sent the text below:
I rode her on the trails to start,  she thought the logs in your yard were scary, she didn't spook just raised her head and stopped. She was hesitant on the creek crossing but went in fine without too much of a fuss. I brought her back to the logs and she was much more calm with them, she even stepped on one like a pedestal. I worked her in the arena after the trails and she did pretty well there too. Stood like a statue for hosing down. She got up on the pedestal in hand to finish up.
Tomorrow Claire is coming to ride Tori and for sure I WILL get pictures and hopefully even a video. The Berean banquet was really special this year. The food was excellent, the speakers even more so and the testimonies of prisoners now out spreading the good news was just heart warming.
