Cleaning Machines

Right after the walk Emily helped get Jenis covered and Ribbon teased. Ribbon is now out. Dakota showed and was covered this morning by Valiant. Her owners were notified. Then it was time to start unloading the truck and trailer from last weekend and cleaning up the machines.
Mike brought out a guest this afternoon to go riding. Dave Beutel is a veterinarian that we found out today had never ridden a horse. Well one can't be a veterinarian in the midwest without knowing how to ride right?
Dave was started out on Bunni and by the end of the afternoon was riding Jenis.

Mike showed Dave Jenis' show-off-trick of going up and balancing on her hind legs.

Dave first had to feel the difference between Jenis' trot and Bunni's running walk.

I think she made him a little nervous but he seemed to enjoy the afternoon. Diane drove to church tonight with an over full van load. We had 8 people in her 7 passenger van. Like mom says, "there's always room for one more!"
